The first of the great Italian 'Campanissimo', Constante Girardengo was Italy’s dominant road rider from 1913 through the 1920s.

A stunning poster created for the 1935 World Championships. Held in Belgium, the 216km road race was a hard fought duel that had local hero Jean Aerts winning before his home fans.

Originally an ad for the 1943 Vuelta Ciclista a Cataluna, one of the oldest races in Europe. The Cataluna was even contested during both world wars.
