Darryl Chappelow has cycled solo and unassisted 14,447kms around Australia in six stages over an eight year period. This account is a traveller’s yarn, a boy’s own adventure and an insight into a personal challenge rather than a cycling guide book. It is about a moment in time that has been captured by the author as he is confronted by the often daunting landscape and the diversity of the people that he meets on his journey.
